Facilities
Our club’s home
ground is at the picturesque Limestone Park in Ipswich. Our club
books the main oval and clubroom on a seasonal basis through the
Ipswich City Council. This provides both the oval and clubrooms to
our club for training nights and weekend fixtures. On going
maintenance of both the oval and clubrooms is provided by the Ipswich
City Council.
In 2001, in conjunction with the
major tenants, the Ipswich City Council successfully applied for over
$750,000 in State Government funds to upgrade the playing surface and
facilities at Limestone Park to a state regional level. The upgrades
included a total resurface of the playing field, the improvement of
lighting to night competition standard, and the construction a two
full change rooms (complete with toilet and shower facilities) below
the main clubhouse.
The main clubroom (depicted below)
includes a social area, a covered balcony, a canteen facility and
individual shower and toilet facilities for umpiring officials.
